Two different activities to enjoy and respect our environment. In one of them the children drew a big mural to represent our planet. In the video they watched amazing images of animals, with the music of "What a wonderful world". In the other one they created beautiful pictures with elements of nature, petals of flowers, herbs and so on. dúas actividades diferentes para desfrutar e respectar o medio ambiente. Nunha o alumnado debuxou un gran mural para representar o noso planeta. No video viron incribles imaxes de animais, coa música de "Que mundo marabilloso". Noutra crearon fermosos cadros empregando elementos da natureza, pétalos de flores, herbas, etc

END OF THE FIRST TERM// FIN DO PRIMEIRO TRIMESTRE

O alumnado de primeiro traballou cada semana en cadansúa obra artística. E os resultados foron así de estupendos. Agora so nos queda descansar moito e disfrutar do Nadal en compañía da nosa xente. BO NADAL, RAMALLOSEIROS/AS! Our students of first grade did these beautiful activities during these last weeks. Now they have to enjoy a lot on Christmas with their relatives and friends. MERRY CHRISTMAS, CHILDREN FROM RAMALLOSA SCHOOL!!

HANDS// MANS

Temos dúas mans que podemos abrir e pechar. E gústanos poñelas bonitas, coloridas. We have two hands that we can open and close, open and close... besides we love to colour them. Look at that!

Our school is oficially plurilingual!!! O noso cole é xa oficialmente plurilingüe

Desde este curso teremos Plástica en inglés, empezando por primeiro de primaria e engadindo un novo curso cada ano. Así que este curso os nosos protagonistas plurilingües son os nenos e nenas de primeiro. E comezamos presentándonos...e poñendo os nomes así de belos. From this year we will develop Art in English. First level children begins now and every new course another new level will participate in the plurilingual experience. In september we introduced one to each other...and afterwards, they coloured their beautiful names.

BIG EYES// OLLOS GRANDES

 Finalizando coa temática da igualdade, estamos rematando os nosos traballos sobre MARGARET KEANE. Esta pintora é un claro exemplo desas situacións que non  poden suceder nunca máis. Margaret pintaba pero era o seu home quen levaba a fama de facelo. Ata que ela decide arriscalo todo para reclamar o que era seu. Vimos a película, aprendemos por que pintaba eses ollos grandes, e aprendemos por que, noutros tempos, o que facía unha muller valorábase menos que o que facía un home. E aprendimos que hai que valorar quen somos e o que facemos pero nunca atendendo ao xénero. 

Tras disfrutar moito da película (da que omitín certas partes que considero pouco apropiadas para o meu alumnado...palabras malsoantes ou pelexas) así escolleron os cadros e trataron de representar eses enormes ollos, que tanto transmiten.

Finishing with the topic of genre equality, we are ending our KEANE artworks. This painter is a good example of odd situations that can not be repeated anymore.

Margaret was the real artist but his husband was who sold and who assumed the authorship of her paintings. Until she  decided to claim she was the author.

After enjoying the film in an incredible way (I have quitted some extracts of the film because I vhave considered them inappropriate for my pupils...bad words and  fights) they chose one painting to reproduce and represent those huge eyes.

 This was the late motiv and we, as teachers and pupils, got dressed different socks in our feet. And we drew socks as well!!

Tan diferentes como iguais foi o lema deste amo, para sensibilizarnos coas necesidades destes nenos e nenas. E vestimos calcetíns desparellos! E en Art, fixemos fermosos calcetíns
