NESTE MES DE MARZO IMOS XOGAR COA PLASTILINA PERO A NOSA INTENCIÓN E DESENVOLVER A NOSA IMAXINACIÓN, MELLORAR A PSICOMOTRICIDADE, REPASAR VOCABULARIO, E POR RIBA DE TODO, SER MOI CREATIVOS.
TEMOS SEIS TARXETAS E EN CADA UNHA HAI UNHA ORDE. DEBEMOS FACER COA PLASTI O QUE NOS DI A TARXETA:
1- MOLDEA UN ANIMAL
2- MOLDEA UNHA ÁRBORE OU OUTRO ELEMENTO DA NATUREZA

IN MARCH WE ARE GOING TO PLAY WITH PLASTICINE. OUR INTENTION IS TO DEVELOP OUR IMAGINATION , IMPROVE OUR MOTOR SKILLS, REVIEW VOCABULARY AND, MOST OF ALL, TO BE ABSOLUTELLY CREATIVE.
WE HAVE A DIE AND SIX CARDS. IN EACH OF THEM WE HAVE AN ORDER: SO, WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS ORDER.

O ALUMNADO DE CUARTO, QUE XA TEN MOITA DESTREZA, CONVERTÍUSE EN DESEÑADORES/AS DE MODA. PARA ISO RECORTARON ROUPAS VELLAS, E CONVERTÍRONAS EN DIVERTIDAS PEZAS DE ROUPA COAS QUE VESTIRON AOS MUÑECOS DE PAPEL.  FIXÁDEVOS!

THE STUDENTS OF FOURTH GRADE , WHO HAS ALREADY  GOOD MOTOR SKILLS, BECAME  FASHION DESIGNERS. THEY CUT OLD FABRICS AND CREATED JOYFUL CLOTHES WITH THEM FOR DRESSING THEIR PAPER DOLLS. LOOK AT THE RESULTS!

MUNCH: THE SCREAM. O BERRO

Despois do día da Paz, comezamos un novo proxecto: O BERRO, de Munch. Porque xunto coa paz, coidar do noso planeta tamén é vital. A través de Munch imaxinamos en que situacións podemos berrar de medo...a que lle temos medo? e así traballaremos formas, cores, partes do corpo, sentimentos...aprenderemos o que é un FONDO e sobre todo debuxaremos a nosa propia cara berrando, que será o máis destacado deste traballo.
Así de terrorífico nos quedou.

After Peace Day, we started with a new project: THE SCREAM, by Munch.
Observing this picture we can imagine why we should scream... what are you scared of??  After talking about that, we reviewed shapes, colours, body parts, feelings, and what the background is. Finally, we drew our own faces screaming. This is the most important feature of our project.

OUR GREAT WORKS TO CELEBRATE PEACE DAY. OS NOSOS TRABALLOS PARA CELEBRAR O DÍA DA PAZ

Aquí están os resultados. Son aquelas palabras que nos falan e nos achegan á paz.
En 1º escolleron entre as catro palabras da Paz que máis lle gustan e  convertiron a palma da man nunha pomba mensaxeira de paz
O alumnado de 2º EP decorou as plumas das pombas coa súa palabra favorita. En 3º e 4º decoraron unha palabra con bonitas cores e debuxos para encher a aula de sentimentos positivos.
Tamén decoramos a parede coa marabillosa e famosa frase que Malala lle dixo ao mundo.

 Here we can see the results. They are those  words that remind them Peace.
In first grade they made doves using the silhouette of their own hands and they wrote peace words.
in second  grade they decorated two doves with feathers filling with peace words.
in third and fourth grade they decorated big words related to Peace. With these materials we decorated our classroom.
Finally we decorated the wall with the amazing and famous Malala's sentence.

CHRISTMAS TIME! ESTAMOS EN NADAL!!

E xa chegou o Nadal ao cole. Toca facer decoracións, escoitar panxoliñas, etc.
Christmas is here! We make ornaments, sing Christmas carols and have fun!!

THANKSGIVING. O DÍA DE ACCIÓN DE GRACIAS.

Como cada ano, chega a festividade americana de acción de gracias. Nesta ocasión o alumnado traballouno coa axuda da nosa auxiliar de conversa, americana, de Virginia, que lles contou de onde viña esta tradición. Despois fixeron estes fermosos traballos.

Each year, Thanksgiving is celebrated in the USA. For this occasion, our American auxiliar  from Virginia explained to them the origins of this tradition. She showed our pupils an activity to honour the festivity.  Finally, they made beautiful works, like these:

THE TREE OF LIFE. A ÁRBORE DA VIDA. KLIMT

Autumn is well-reflected in trees. They change their colours to yellow, brown, red, orange... 
Klimt's tree is different because its branches have swirls and  blotches of colours to represent the life cycle.
My students created their own trees and that was the result (from 4th grade to 1st)
O outono reflíctese perfectamente nas árbores. Cambian a cores como amarelo, marrón, vermello, laranxa...
A árbore de Klimt é diferente porque as súas pólas son enroscadas e hai un modelo de cores que en conxunto representa o ciclo da vida
O meu alumnado creou as súas propias árbores e este foi o resultado (de 4º a 1º curso).

Samaín + Magosto= SAMAGOSTO // HALLOWEEN!

Estes días tivemos moito traballo na clase de Plástica. Como en Galicia celebramos con intensidade a festa do magosto pero tamén celebramos o Samaín, xuntamos as dúas e así facemos a festa das castañas ao tempo que decoramos cabazas, e tamén o noso cole, con motivos de medo. Mentres nós andivemos a preparar uns botes de leite, zume e convertímolos en cartóns para meter as castañas asadas e quentes nun  lado, e botar as cáscaras no outro. Así non manchamos e aprendemos a ser cívicos. Pero ademais de facer o noso bote, decorámolo con todo o que quixemos.  Menudas preciosidades que creamos!

During these days we had hard work in Art classes. Galicians celebrate intensively  the Magosto party as well as the Halloween (Samaín), so we joint both and eat roasting chesnuts and decorate amazing pumpkins and also  fill our school,,with fear staff. Meanwhile we did a jar divided in two parts. In one part we put the roasting chesnuts and in the other we throw the peels. so they learn to be civilized and they recycle cartons. Finally, children could decorate their jar with any fear drawing. What amazing jars they have now!!!

Benvidos e benvidas de novo ás nosas clases de Art, ou Plástica en inglés como parte da nosa sección bilingüe.
comezamos o curso decorando a porta cos nosos nomes plastificados. E somos tantos que a enchemos por ambas as dúas partes. E así de divertida e bonita nos quedou.

Welcome everyone to our Art classes. We started the course decorating our door with our laminated names. And there are many students so the door is full of names on both sides. This activity was  enjoyable!
