One of this term works was really difficult but motivating as well as interesting for them. We have worked how to draw a face, paying attention to the details: eyes, nose, hair, lashes, lips, shapes... For that we watched the passionate life of a famous sixties American painter, Margaret Keane. We watched a film and how she drawed the children with enormous eyes that transmitted us strong feelings, emotions...
All the children of fourth enjoyed the film, empathized with her (she had to show to the world she was the authentic author instead of her husband). Afterwards the pupils chose one picture to try to copy .
We worked attention, the detail, the shapes, sizes, expressions, colours... The results varied so much among the children but here we can see some of them. They are really great. Actually I must tell them: "well done, pupils"!

COLOURFUL SPRING. Primavera colorida.
Spring is a changeable season, when birds make their nests and the Nature is colourful and lively. We did flowers using lids to recicling (first graders) and a puzzle (fourth graders)

IT'S EASTER! Pascua!
We have already finished Easter time and these were our works at the third level class: they brought potatoes cutted by the middle, we coloured them and created our Easter eggs. Afterwards the children completed their drawings tracing and detailing them. It also appeared bunnies, baskets...

LINES.
Paul Klee said: "A line is a dot that went for a walk". From this idea, our new work in third and fourth level, came up doing a line; a dot that went for a walk, with no direction, walking around and around until it stopped. At that moment, pupils observed and found images with their imagination. Afterwards they colored, completed and appeared original and fun drawings. And the best part was that we could travel far away through our imagination.
These are some of the results:

VALENTINE'S DAY/SAN VALENTÍN OU O DÍA QUE CASAN OS PAXARIÑOS
Our Valentine's cards. Will you be my Valentine?
February is a month of love. In Galicia we have two days to celebrate it: The 2nd and the 14th of February. On the second day, our tradition tell us that birds get married, because they go together to care their little birds. On the 14th, it is Valentine's day. We mixed both days creating a card with two birds which send our message for the person we love. Of course, this person can be mum, dad, our best friend, our teacher...anyone.
